MATRYOSHKA LAMP
Fed by my dissertation research into anthropomorphic design, I created this lamp for a Somerset House project as a way of exploring the sentimental value of objects which we see as friends.
Have you ever given a human name to a cherished object you owned, swore at something when it performed badly or pleaded with it to work? This kind of behavior is called anthropomorphism, or animism.
LITTLE WING NECKLACE
The Little Wing necklace is my first attempt to explore the world of jewellery design and making. Available in cast silver, brass, or gold-plated silver, it is made from the skull of cynopterus brachyotis, or the lesser short-nosed fruit bat. Please email me for prices and availability.
